In 1990 I began writing a story whose plot, I thought, provocative enough that it could, at least, be a made for TV movie. My real dream was to get published. And, there's the rub. Agents don't want unpublished writers, and it becomes a catch 22.

Enter the World Wide Web, and after a fact, I'm published. My book, Sins of the Mother is found here, and by clicking on a chapter you can read, or print my book, free.

In addition, my next work in process can be found here. The working title is Playing God. (in unedited form). I think there is enough of it enclosed to understand the title, but I'm not sure where it goes from here. That's where you come in.

Would you like to help write Playing God? If so jump on in. Help with the plot line, develop a character, write a chapter, anything that works for you.

Or, put something of yours up here, and invite help, or just seek opinions. This site is also a work in process; therefore there aren't many rules. The overriding understanding is that I "play God" on this site. That way there can be no arguments about content.

During the writing of Sins of the Mother, I used two editors, one for content, and one for copy. My hope is that we can attract editors who might find our forum an opportunity to stimulate those of us that desire to be published in the traditional sense. In other words, get paid for our efforts. These editors may pick up a paying customer along the way, too.

Oh, yes, lest I forget, anyone is welcome to comment on anything that goes on here. Even if you don't write, but want to be a critic, here's your chance. Start with Sins of the Mother, if you like. Don't worry about hurting my feelings, I've been pained by hundreds, the skin is tough.
